They offer the perfect three sizes {8×8, 10×10, 12×12} to accommodate your taste & budget. Combine this with their hot cover colors {voluptuous black, redlight red, smoldering brown, forbidden green, sultry blue} and you have a brilliant album that will stand the test of time!

10×10 albums start at $2,500 including design and up to 60 images

The Ultimate album is a 12×12 featuring up to 300 images–talk about amazing! This album is perfect for those of you who want to really relive the day or year (depending on whether it’s for your wedding, 1st year of your 1st born, or other great event!). This album including design runs $4,500.

As with all our fabulous albums, payment plans are available so you can afford the album of your dreams without sacrificing.

As with all album designs, you get to select the images and approve the layouts to ensure the PERFECT album.

Just 5 weeks old, this little baby girl is adorable!
While I aim to do ‘newborns’ as 14 days or younger, she’s still amazingly small and cuddly.

I am so blessed to work with such amazing people that allow me into their homes & lives to capture the every-day beauty of life.
Thank you!!!!

I think this may have been my first Destination Michigan weddings ever. Katrina & Andy are a very sweet couple and they were surrounded by their very close families. You could just feel the love emanating from everyone!

Katrina has this stunning understated beauty that really shines through and her love for Andy is completely free flowing.
They decided to arrange for at First Look before the wedding so that they could fully enjoy their enchanting reception held in downtown Grand Rapids at The B.O.B. The First Look was photographed at her parents home and was such a lovely moment.

From there, we headed to the lush beauty on the campus of Aquinas College to capture the classic family portraits. It was a perfect afternoon to stroll beneath the immense canopy of trees and sweeping landscapes while capturing their thriving love.
After we had captured some romantic shots of the two of them and all the requisite formals, we headed to the church where Katrina was secreted away until her grand entrance with her loving father.

Without further adieu, I give you a selection of my favorites from Katrina & Andy’s wedding held way back in 2004. This wedding is also shot on film as in 2004 we were still shooting film (we actually were shooting part film/part digital in 2003 but all my work was film and Dan’s {my husband} was shooting all digital so I’m just sharing some of my images in this post).

Grand Rapids, MI Wedding

One of my all time favorite weddings from way back in 2004.

I was doing a review of past weddings and I love this one so much, I wanted to share it!

The ceremony was held in a secluded grove on the banks of Lake Leelanau near Traverse City, MI.

A wonderful southern inspired wedding featuring brilliant hydrangeas and casual khaki.  Mandy (the bride) is originally from Kentucky and her family has a crazy fun cottage up at Lake Leelanau near Traverse City.  Such a beautiful place and full of meaning for all who attended this picturesque wedding.  The cottage has been pieced together over the years by each generation lending it this amazing quirky character.

Mandy was stunning with her southern charm and Frank was quite dapper in his casual khaki suit.  Every detail was wonderfully coordinated to create a fabulous scene.

I love the simple pearls in her hair and the elegant simplicity of her handmade gown.  The entire event was charmingly elegant and full of personal details like their wedding cake that featured them as mountain climbers-one of their favorite pastimes!

They even had their dogs all dressed up to take part in the day.

The reception was held at a nearby reception hall at the Leelanau Sands Casino in Sutton’s Bay, MI.  The lovely relaxed feeling followed into the reception.

What a wonderful weekend!  I am so grateful that Mandy was willing to hire me sight unseen–this remains one of my all-time favorite weddings!

Enjoy this little peek into the past.

Portraits of Bride & Groom in Northern Michigan

Oh! This wedding is from back in my film days, hence the slightly different ‘feel’ to the images.

Hope you enjoyed these images.

Wow.  I just finished listening & reading the transcript from a speech Ronald Reagan made back in 1964 and honestly, you would think he had given it last week!

He talks about so many topics that could have been plucked from our headlines with only minor adjustments (like instead of “vietnam” insert “iraq”)

However, I find myself feeling a little scared knowing that the numbers and figures he gives have ballooned, increased and are so much worse than in 1964.

If he was concerned in 1964 about these issues that we are still facing, I think we need to pay close attention to what’s going on and get involved in the change that we need.

I encourage you to click the link below and either listen to or read through the transcript of this elegant speech.  It’s wonderful to listen, but if you don’t have time, at least read it.

What an inspiring speech that speaks to the heart of our current affairs.
